My neighbor gave me a bag of these… anyone know what they are? How do you eat them?

  • Cracked open with a knife or nutcracker
  • The white kernel inside is removed and eaten

The cooked flesh has a mildly sweet, nutty flavor with a texture somewhere between chestnuts and potatoes.
